Cinnamon Chicken and Couscous
Cinnamon Chicken might sound like a weird food combination, but it’s actually pretty good.
What you need:
Near East Wheat Couscous
1 chicken breast
Lou Ann coconut cooking oil
Powdered cinnamon
Salt
Directions:
- Follow the directions on the couscous package to cook it.
- Season the chicken with salt and a pinch or two of cinnamon
- Cook the chicken in a pre-heated pan with coconut oil
When the chicken is about 70% cooked, put the burner on low. Cover the pan with a lid and let the chicken slow cook the rest of the way (this is when I walk away and do other stuff). The meat will be done after about 5-7 minutes.
- Wash the kale, and season it with low-salt condiments
